They were, she was even sold but the guy disappeared. In the process she had a year off so I decided to give her another shot.

That can vary a LOT!!! The mating process itself can take anywhere from one day to a month or more. Typical is right around a month between first sign of mating and the POS. Once the POS occurs, then it's another 117 days (plus/minus 10) before parturition.

So, bottom line is about 4 -5 months

seems like the general consensus is that they're a little nippy as juveniles but mellow out well with handling, they need special humidity requirements/humid hide/etc, but you can look all those up. I'm really looking forward to getting mine! they're so shiny
