Re: ball python habitates

there was lots of over lapping each other but alass my girl wanted her daddy more. she likes mike best lol. and i think judging by simons actions he is more of a womans snake. his old owner almost cried when we left with him, i could tell she loved him alot.

Re: ball python habitates

in the wild ball pythons will curl up underground rather than somewhere in the trees, or anywhere above ground for that matter

it's more important that your ball python has comfy, secure, tight-fitting hides on the hot & cold end rather than stuff to climb. ball pythons are clumsy and tend to fall anyway lol

heat rocks are not recommended for snakes, look into under-tank heaters

Re: ball python habitates

I use a 50/50 mix of cypress and aspen for my BP and all my other snakes. It they cypress holds humidity really well as long as you close of most of the screen top on your tank. I have custom wooden vivs and I only have to mist it every other week in the winter. The combination of cypress and aspen also allows them to burrow and make tunnels. Also it is very easy to just spot clean.
