Somehow I knew if you got a colubrid it would be something as exceptional as these. We know someone with an adult pair and they are incredible snakes - very beautiful, very active and dramatic species.

What an absolute charmer. Just the eye of that snake is gorgeous by itself, let alone that striking coloration.

The adult pair must be about 6 feet - they are incredible snakes - very green, and his are definately display animals from what I remember - not snakes that he handles much. He was hoping to breed them, but I don't know if they have had any luck. I really like the silver phase as well, but I believe they are one of the controlled herps here in Alberta - so they are not on my list of possibilities at the moment.
I am sure you will enjoy this guy and look forward to seeing more photos as he grows.
