imo the best way to get her on rats is to NEVER offer her another mouse
at first she will hold out looking for mice,but once hungry she should take a rat
try scenting the rat with a burst open mouse
or your going to need a huge amount of mice to feed an adult coastal mate
imo its always best to get carpet pythons onto rats as soon as possible.from the egg if you can
the older they get the harder it can be to cross them over from mice to rats
patients and perciverance is the key and never go backwards by giving in and offering a mouse.it just puts you right back to the start mate
