Has anyone had their Leo poop on them?

I am concerned about my Leo. just cause noticed she pooped in her humid one day and it was wet and sort of runny looking but still kept its shape of short fat worm. But she also dragged it a bit by a invisable string...lol if you can under stand that. Also it smeeled like Poop...whewwww.
Today it pooped on me and the smell was bad. all i have seen was when they were dried and hard. Reason i am concerned is cause the book i got said if they have runny poop take to the vet. But does runny mean like the runs like we get or just wet ...lol I hope i am making my self clear.... I guess are they wet looking when it comes out or is it dry ?

thanks.

It's always a good idea to have new reptiles vet checked and have a fecal analysis done to check for parasites. I would suggest that for you. What you have described doesn't necessarily indicate parasites but I would find out just to be safe. Collect a stool sample when it's fresh, refridgerate it, and bring it to the vet within 72 hours. Most vets will insist on examining an animal before doing a fecal.

It doesn't come out completely dry and hard. It should be consistent enough to hold its shape, but it will come out looking wet. Good luck.

Also, if she crapped in the hid box, where it is humid, that could possibly slow down how fast it dries. I don't know. Correct me if I'm wrong.

When a leopard gecko takes a ****, it contains SOME moisture. What you saw come out of it's *** all stringy and the like was probably just the associated moisture, typical of any geckos feces.
As for "wet" or "runny" feces which your book probably mentions, it means loose, inconsistent, pastey feces, possibly smeared and all over the place.
**** is poop, therefore it will smell like poop. The overpowering aroma tends to go away when the feces dry, but since your gecko decided to spoil its damp hide, it couldn't dry in that type of environment.
Keep an eye out for your geckos appetite decreasing. Runny or loose stools in conjunction with a decreased appetite and smelly feces can be cause for alarm for bacterial infections in the intestinal tract.
