Because you wouldn't think a Pike like that would live long enough to get that size. It looked a fair size to me.

you have to think a young pike with two bodies is going to draw attention to itself.. Swimming around it would look like more then one fish and be easy picking for that of a larger pike. As anyone that goes fishing knows, these fish have the ability to reach some really good sizes.
