Cool Snake mites.

I am new to this forum and also a new snake keeper and I was just wondering what type of cAt flea spray you use to get rid of them, which are available in England and how is the best way to use it. Thanks!

hello and welcome

i personally would not use flea spray mate

PROVENT A MITE is what i use

its designed for reptiles

its always worked first time, everytime for me

i also use it as a preventative measure,i spray my quarantine tanks 24 hours before any new snakes arrive

provent a mite remains active for 30 days,so it gives me peace of mind regards new arrivals

i paid £28 per can delivered to my house,a can lasts ages and can treat a lot of tanks

cheers shaun

Re: Snake mites.

Hello and welcome

Most people use either Provent a mite ( also referred to as PAM) or they use Nix which is a common human head lice product.

Welcome to the forum! What kind of snake(s) do you have? Would love to see some pics. Sorry to hear your snake has mites... PAM or Nix work well, but I don't know if or where you can find those in the UK. Good luck!
