Would People Be Interested In Feeders?
I'm trying to figure out what the demand would be for certain feeders.
Please chime in with your suggestions and such!
I am located in Rochester NY and, depending on the amount of interest, I will be willing to drive to Long Island every other month (again, depending on interest).
I will also look into shipping down the road, for those who would like their orders shipped to them (hard to compete with shipping prices of big breeders when you first start out).
Right now, I have prices set for feeder Rabbits, Quail, and Chicks.
Rabbits, Mice, and ASF's will come next (so please add in if you'd want these as well, including size)
Also, these animals (Rabbits, Quail, and Chicks) are not produced by us, they are produced by a local farm that we are working with.
It's only fair to be honest about that!
Here is a link to the route we usually take. This gives people in NY, PA, and NJ a change to meet. I can meet at any of the rest areas on the route, or right off the route at a Mc Donalds.
The only "gotcha" is, I'll need a little extra money for ice. I will be purchasing Dry Ice for the trip and will divide the cost of the Dry Ice among all the orders so that it's fair. I'm purchasing a huge cooler out of my own pocket for these trips, so there's no "box cost" lol

Can you link me a google maps thing, like I have above, with the proposed change?
I'm not sure what route that is.

Sounds good!
How many of each size, live or frozen, and how often? (for each, mice and rats).
Just trying to get a good idea on everything.

Re: Would People Be Interested In Feeders?
At this point Id probably take a bag of 50 frozen fuzzies, and 10 frozen adult rats per trip (if you are going every other month). If I end up getting the retic Im looking at it would be a whole lot more of course

Re: Would People Be Interested In Feeders?
Anyone interested in rabbits or anything else for meeting on the 23rd at night? I have one order and the more I add to the order, the cheaper the "ice cost" will be for everyone.
At this time they will be in zip lock bags (but will be vacuum sealed as soon as we get our sealer).
I'm heading to my supplier this weekend and can see what she has available, but once I go this weekend, I'm not going back before the 23rd, so let me know if you're interested in anything!
Thanks all you mice/rat people for patiently waiting until I have my colony up. You won't be disappointed!

You would have to come into Middletown, NY. I know when I make a rodent run for us, we get around 36 XX rabbits, 100 XX rats, 200 to 300 mice and 50 chicks or quails.

Re: Would People Be Interested In Feeders?
I can do that. It's only like, 3 miles out of my way.
Would you be interested in the 36 XXL Rabbits and 50 chicks/quail for next week if I can get them for you?
Also, how do the XL rabbits usually come packaged? I plan on vacuum sealing them, but as of right now, we haven't decided on the best commercial sealer. Send me a PM or email me at feederrodents@hotmail.com

There are 4 of us who would be putting the order together. I will not be able to get the order together that fast, so it will most likely be for your next trip. The feeders we normally get, we have to package them ourselves.

Re: Would People Be Interested In Feeders?
I'm not taking anymore orders for the Thanksgiving holiday anymore. Thanks for all of your orders!
If anyone needs anything for the Christmas holiday, or after new years, let me know what the approx order will be and I'll be sure to start getting it all together.
I picked up a vacuum sealer, so, for now, anything that fits in my bags, I can seal up for you!!
I'm thinking of adding a different feeder into the mix.
I will be adding the following feeders to my list in the near future. If you'd be interested in any, let me know so I know how many to keep on hand at any given time.
