My green iguana LOL a rescue...

check out this link..... http://geocities.com/ratgals/marigold.html

I rescued marigold from horrid conditions...he is now 10lbs...when we brought him to the vet in june of 2001, he was 2lbs....with lots of work, money and time, he is now a giant

however unfortunately due to his infections and stuff, he lost his tail to gangrene. (now the giant cant whip me!)

He now free roams the house and occasionally he climbs into the baby bearded dragons tank and sits with her. (dangerous, i know but i come home and they are like that).

Marigold now goes to shows, meetings and iguana talks with us and now has prompted us to rescue alot of iguanas.

Glad to see you've turned him around! Good job! However a I have a few concerns. Is there anything you can do to cover the beardies tank though? Also I'm assuming there is a hot element for the beardies - is this protected from the iguana? Is it in a position where your ig can get burned?

No the iguanas cant get burned...its kinda hidden from them...and yes, im actually trying to find a lid for the bearded dragon's tank...anyone know where i can find a 48"x12"???
I'm actually thinking of setting up the iguana into the bedroom where he cant reach anything else...but he is a good iguana...altho they are unpredictable.

Great stuff. it is nice to see an iguana rescue. They are very hard to place.

I think about that everytime I see a pet store selling an iguana to a kid and telling htem they can feed it iceburg Lettuce
