Re: 1.2 Candycane motleys
is it just me or does that first stunning beauty look like a motley/stripe (or q-tip)?

Re: 1.2 Candycane motleys
I really like how the second corn has a stripe on its first third of its body then it goes to bands. Definitely keep updated with this trio, I just know they are only gonna get better with age.

Re: 1.2 Candycane motleys
thanks for all your nice comments - my friend has the parents of these and they have no stripe heritage in them, although yes it does look like there is stripe influence in there. The two parents are what I would describe as a typical motley in pattern, if you know what I mean. I know the guy who bred the parents and both came from seperate parents, all 4 of whom were motley with no stripe heritage (I wish there was but sadly no).Two of this clutch (the one my 3 are from) were fully striped as in a ribbon motley with asymetrical striping - however there was little contrast and could not really be described as candycanes (I would have had them if they did!!)
