Thinking About...
I was visiting a friend last night and met her boas for the first time, held one (well it sat on me) for about an hour, it was apparently very clingy with its tail but was actually really great with me and I must say I fell inlove.
Currently waiting on a call back from a full time job I hope to get, basically its more then I need as a part time would do us fine for our rent/bills and food so I'm hoping to pick up some things. First it was a really nice male pastel that I really hope to get and I was planning on getting another bp for a very long time so everything is all planned out. But now i'm looking into getting a little boa and wondering since it'll be a month or two till I manage to bring him home do you think that is enough time for me to learn what I need to or should I wait till next year. I would be picking up a hatchling and am prepared for the size, the male should be a bit smaller since he has dwarf in him and the breeder said he would be bigger then a dwarf but not as big as a Columbian, though size is not an issue I just wanted to point it out.
Basically i've never had a boa and am wondering if this is a good start and if I should go for it or not and if anyone could give me a good general run down of everything, i've read and looked over a lot but I really like hearing it from long time owners instead of random caresheets.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Thinking About...
Anybody?
I just wanted to say that since i've moved the place is a lot better then we thought as far as the pet things goes and Mitch and I have talked this over a lot especially the bp so its not like we saw a boa and just decided we wanted one.
Anyone out there with some tips or advice on them that I would really find in a care sheet.

Re: Thinking About...
Ive only just made the jump to boas., so far she seems reasonably docile. Just one little bite to my gf. Id say if youve made the effort to research alot and are ready for the size then go for it.

Re: Thinking About...
The size isn't going to be a problem if anything I like my animals bigger, I couldn't even own a corn I would be to scared haha. I wont be getting him till oct 25th so I have plenty of time to sort stuff out and get everything ready to go.
