I know there's a thread where someone asked basically this same question but with a lizard. My baby corn can climb up to this little ledge at the top of his tank but he can't really get back down. Last night he climbed up to it and when I walked over to lower him down he fell about 12 inches and hit his head on his hide. He seemed a little dazed by it, because he coiled up and got in the striking position but after around 10 seconds he burrowed. Is there any reason I should be concerned?
Lol.. I wouldn't worry much. My corn did that all the time when I had him in a 10 gallon tank. (well until he got to fat to do it) A few times I got nervous, so I sat and watched him for a minute or 2 until I realized he was just being special.
I would go outside and find a nice size stick and bake it in the oven for a little bit to kill all the bugs and stuff, He can use that to climb up and down.
