My pet chicken and her diaper...

Hey guys, remember a while back I introduced myself and mentioned I had a pet chicken? Well I finally got around to making a video about my unique pet... thought it'd be a cute/interesting topic to work with.

haha thanks for watching. they're definitely pets i can vouch for... I got mine for $7 and she's been endless enjoyment since last year. Few sounds are funnier then random clucking. LOL

A diaper for a chicken! Freaking GENIOUS!! Is that something they make for that purpose or is it something that you sorta rigged yourself? Now I want chickens LOL

Thanks for watching. You're not going to believe this but it's actually a product... google chicken diapers. XD

When i first got her i actually made my own... you have no idea. It was a ziplock stuffed with toilet paper... and i used a string and one of those tighteners to get it around her tail...

Oh man now I want a chicken! Wonder if ducks can wear a chicken diaper? Like an interchangeable thing...One day I think I will get a chicken or two. When I don't have two 75 pound idiot canines and a slew of other animals to deal with.

But the question is do chickens make good pets? Like do they want to cuddle or are they one of those animals that you just have to say "I have this kind of animal" type of thing?

lol i'm gonna be totally honest with you. I think I got REALLY lucky with mine. She used to have a foot condition so she never learned to run away from people. She's not afraid and you can pick her up whenever you want. Partly i think it's cuz she's a "silkie" bread... you can google that.

Otherwise I've seen a lot of chickens that're just loud and smelly. Mine's also a "bantam" so it stays small. =P

Right now i have her trained to come to the dinner table when we're eating... and run to the fridge when it opens lol... but that's not really "training" per say. :P

LOL I have heard that ducks can be loveable...or about as loveable as a barnyard fowl can be. Glad you got lucky with yours. Birds have never been my forte, usually they hate me for one reason or another which ends up with them wanting to get away from me or attacking me. All I need is a chicken or something doing that LOL
