Bit of an Odd Question...
Alright, this is going to sound a bit nutty, but I need a bit of help with my english homework, lol! The assignment is to write a conversation using "jargon and slang" from any area/culture. A few examples being internet slang, southern slang and valley girl speak. I, being the snake obsessed dork that I am, decided to use "herper" slang. We need a dictionary of at least 20 terms to go along with the project. I already have a few, like "het", "1.1", "amel", "aner", "hypo", etc. Can anybody give me a few others along with their meanings? And maybe even a suggestion for a setting and a plot? (I was going to have the two people at a reptile expo, one about to buy a snake and the other trying to sell it.)
Once again, sorry for the oddness, but I just want this to be good! Thanks!

emmie=emerald tree boa, ammie=amazon tree boa, popping=the sexing technique, herp=slang derived from "herpetology"? That's all I can think of right now...
"herper" in itself is a slang term, being short for "herpetoculturist"

I don't know if you meant "1.1" to be one male one female. If you did. I wouldn't consider that slang. It's just a way we get a point across. like "$5.67" would be slang for 5 dollars and sixty seven cents. or "4x4" four by four.

Has it been probed? (Has it been sexed)
Admission is $4 for neonates (Admission costs $4 for the kiddies)
Is that snake a cross? (Is it a hybrid snake?)
Is that a Tremper albino? (Is that leopard gecko descended from Ron Tremper's line of albinos?)
Look, that snake just gave me a 'strawberry' (That snake just flicked its tongue at me)
I need to go on a crix run (Drat, I am out of crickets and need to go buy some more)
I need Black Knight (I need some mite spray, not that horrible, horrible movie)
Stop the car, there's a dead raccoon on the road (Look, free food for the burm)
Something else I recently experienced is going to a health food store and trying to buy small amounts of different stuff to gut-load insects. Just watch their expressions change when you tell them that you want powdered bee pollen and sea kelp for MEALWORMS. lol
