whats the difference between short tails and bloods?

They all are short-tail pythons.The main reason for blood being call bloods is because of they color. They are cousin so there's really not a big differences mainly color and size. Bloods can get up to 6 feet or more and 30 plus lbs. Borneo Short Tail get between 3 to 5 feet. The Sumatran short-tail (aka Black Blood) is the smallest topping out at 4 feet for females and under 3 for most males. There's also a Sumatra Blood Python which gets bigger and has the Blood Red color that Bloods are famous for. Some people say that bloods are more aggressive than Borneo and Black Bloods. Just like with carpets they maybe a little nippy as babies, but with frequent handling they tame right down.(most of the time)
