One from the motherland
Hi Guys,
I have finally joined the ranks of carpet keepers. Please excuse the crappy pics as I am still waiting for him to settle in and don't want to disturb him too much. I got him last Wednesday from a top breeder in NQLD. He is coming into shed so te colours are dulled down and I can't seem to capture his real colour.
Details
11 months
Male
Tully Locality
70cm
Cheers,

Re: One from the motherland
That's a handsome looking carpet you have there!
He appears to have a nice, long dorsal stripe; very attractive!
(As others have said, we'd love to see pics post-shed!).

Re: One from the motherland
Cheers guys, I do like the jungles. I just love their looks. Unfortunately I can't see myself getting another carpet species. My real love is in Antaresias which will be the main focus of my collection. Smaller plenty of personality and easy to keep, not to mention stunning. I will be focusing mainly on stimsons and their different localities. My first snake is an A. maculosa so the "ants" will always hold a special place. I'm only pairing up the jungle as I like to have pairs lol. If I had the room I may get a pair Jullatens as well. But that will have too wait until those lines are more established here and people are consistantly producing "clean" black and whites.
