Re: New Carpet!
I agree with Lankyrob...it looks like a diamond/jungle cross to me. I doubt it is pure diamond, or your wallet would have taken a huge dent, but it has the D/JCP blotches and the black background of a nice cross. It's hard to tell from the picture quality, but does it have a lot of tipping (light-colored scales edged in black giving a fishnet look)?
Whatever it is, beautiful carpet!

Re: New Carpet!
in the op's signature he lists it as a diamond coastal
i think its more than possible thats exactley what it is.
or
a diamond jaguar sibling which would make it a diamond coastal (father a diamond x mother a coastal jaguar).
its hard to tell from the pictures.imo it has a very nice pattern and is a cracking looking carpet.
i look forward to more pictures after you get your new camera
its definatley caught my interest though
cheers shaun

Re: New Carpet!
It looks like a diamond x coastal to me. They are a very common cross both in captivity and in the wild. A nice looking one though.

Re: New Carpet!
Mark (gonesnakee) has some awesome diamonds and diamond crosses, and I just picked up a 75% diamond/jungle...he's in a thread on here somewhere. Shaunyboy also has one, if you'd like to see other pics of them. There is huge variability in the DJCP crosses, and in some cases I think a nice high percentage cross can be more beautiful than a pure diamond.

You forgot mine. lol I think there's more picture of my Diamond X Jungle in the headshot thread that any other snake. I swear everybody that comes to my house and see my snakes they all swear it the most beautiful of all my snakes.

Re: New Carpet!
Nice looking snake. To me it looks like a Diamond and coastal cross. That is just my opinion though.
