Oddly enough he is a green iguana. We don't know why if it was a diet change or what but her turned red. I know their color fades with age but he's ...well....relly red...
FWC is gone and has been replaced with 3 new NorPacs.

Re: My reptile room.
I pretty sure red and green iguana's are the same thing, the red is just a morph. Very nice tho same as that burm, i have always loved burms. i would die to get my hands on a granite.

Re: My reptile room.
Don't buy a boa from petco.... way over priced. Check out/post an ad on your local Craigslist, or check out a reptile show.

Re: My reptile room.
lol Craigs list is full of a holes that just want to make money off their pets and dont care about their well being and no reptile shows ever come to my area there is one in seattle in about a week but i have no money to buy a reptile there and no way there so yet again i just get to "know" its happening. and over priced or not i'd still buy it if i had the money for it this one i was looking at was amazing

i would have to dissagree, IMHO it is the exact opposite. Petco could care less about their retile and sell them for a profit, most people on craigslist are selling old pets they can no longer keep, or they are small time breeders like I will soon be and selling snakes from my pets i take very good care of, petco on the other hand does not keep pets , they keep breeders to make $. i only buy from Breeders that provide a great quality of snake they sell, like mark at gonesnakee and henry piorun, " a shout out becuase im so happy buying my snakes from them, and i cant say it enouph" but anyways as far as a granite burm goes, i would buy that baby and run lol

Re: My reptile room.
I agree with freebody. Local petco has a burm I wanted to make sure they were knowledgeable on it becauseit didn't seem like a good place to sell a giant python baby. Hate to see a parent get it for a kid not realizing how quickly it gets huge so i asked a couple workers. None of them knew anything about them. Infact I asked how big they get and one even said "uhh.....about 5 feet"...Screw that place.

Re: My reptile room.
that is just the reason to remove them from that enviorment. i have had too many cases where i get overcharged/price changed and half the time i end up not even getting the snake because they back out. on the other hand if you buy from petco it is always sold the price never changes and you can pick and chose which one you want who cares if they know or dont how long it gets i know how long it gets and i know the heat and humidity lvls (or im not getting the snake) so really its just another personal preference thing. i do get from CL and i do get from petCo.

Re: My reptile room.
Oh I'm all for experienced people buying from there if they want. It just pisses me off they don't know or care about them and sell potentially dangerous snakes to kids and unexperienced people saying they only get a couple feet long.

Re: My reptile room.
oh yea. for a child and adoption is prob best to ensure safety (after thoroughly checking for temperament) but then i dont think anyone under the age of 16 should have a snake (despite my best efforts since 10) because its a lot of responsibility for an unguided un experienced sub adult to handle safely
