Changing pattern?

I've had my ball python for a while, and a few months ago I noticed a new spot on her that I've never seen before, then just a few weeks ago, I noticed that the spot is now connected to another one of her spots.

Do their pattens change as they get older? I just thought it was strange and decided to ask.

Yes as they get bigger some snakes patterns will change slowly.
