help with hiding ball

I need your guys help. My ball has not come out of his hide for 3 days now. I am beginning to get worried. I dont want to open it up cause i am afraid that will spook him out.
Any thoughts on why he is hiding?

Ball Pythons are nocturnal snake. They come out at night and sleep during the say. When your ball is in his hide, he probably comes out at night while you're sleeping and crawls around having a good time. I don't think there is anything to worry about.

well when i first got him i used to see him around at night. I went to bed at 11:30 last night and did not see him. I usually wake up at 5:00am in the morning and i have his lamp come on at 5:30am and go off at 6:00pm. I do not see him like I used to before.

If he is feeding well, and drinking well i wouldn't worry too much. Make sure the temps are good and your snake should be fine. My ball is in her hide a lot as well. Theya re known for that. If you are really worried try and take him out of his hide (as long as it is easy to get to. It would stress the ball too much if you had to send your hand flying towards him through a hole. If he is under something than it should be fine.) And handle him a little bit.

.....

That's what Balls (actually most snakes) do. They hide, try to grab a quick meal without expending much energy, thermoregulate, and then hide some more.

Sounds normal to me.

Don't be surprised that your snake which has earned a common name from it's behavoir of hiding it's head (like a ostrich) hides. Specially if you just fed it.

my snake is all grouchy. I picked him up and he went into a ball. He would not come out an investigate nothing. His eyes did look blueish and cloudy.

seems like he his going in shed!

if your snake doesn`t move much, it generaly means that he got everything he needs (temp, humidity, a good hide spot etc). When he is moving a lot, there is some chance that he need something : food, thermoregulation (or colder tempS!), humidity, hiding himself. Sure, something they just cruise around or want to get out of their cage .
