Not new, but just returned

Hi all! I'm not "new" around here, technically, just been away for a few years. Nice to see that the boards are still active.

Just popping in to say hello, hopefully I'll be spending more time around these parts from now on.

Re: Not new, but just returned

What do I keep? Nothing at the moment! I had downsized my collection significantly a few years ago, and then had to get rid of all my critters when I moved across the country from Tampa, FL to Portland, OR.

In the past, I've kept BCIs, blood pythons, rainbow boas, ball pythons (of course, who hasn't!), and a little experience with colubrids - just corns and kings.
As far as lizards, I have experience with blue tongue skinks, various chameleon species, and bearded dragons.

I've missed being part of the herp community and am looking forward to getting back in. I'm excited to start rebuilding my collection. Not sure what I want to focus on, but I do miss having a blood python around

Welcome back, Kristina! I look forward to getting to know you! Portland is a beautiful city--my DS & his DW live there, so I get to visit every once in awhile!

Sounds like you've had a number of different snakes--gonna find a herp show and get another blood? Have fun looking!

Re: Not new, but just returned

A reptile expo actually just came through Portland and I was unable to attend because I was stuck at home with the ever dreaded swine flu. So, I'll be keeping my eye open for local breeders. If I can't find anything I like in the area, I'll either wait for the next expo to come around or suck it up and have on shipped.. maybe a blood from NERD
