Re: Pastel Ball Python price inquiry

Everyone has their own opinion. That is why I said to each their own. If you like morphs and you feel the price is right fine. I just do not like morphs. I like the snakes the way they are. I'm sorry if I offended anyone, but I do care about my snakes and take good care. Right heat, humidity, etc. I come to the forum for advice/questions and such. That is what a forum is to give your thoughts and ideas wther they are right or wrong still your own opinion. I have/had Ball Pythons and like them just the way they are. I see the beauty in nature not what can be made or bred.

I agree with Julian and Mykee. I would love to get a pair of Mojaves and try to make blue-eyed leucstics (sooo beautiful). I agree that some of the morphs are crazy expensive, but the genetics are interesting and complicated.

Re: Pastel Ball Python price inquiry

I must revise my opinion and i do like some of the morphs like the pied and leucstics because they are really different, but for the most part having one of the other morphs over the normal doesn't really do anything for me and why pay more when you dont' have to. I'd rather have a normal and make an awesome enclosure and put money into that then have a yellow belly so to say. and I do like immediate gratification so ya i hate waiting.

Im also more of a boa person cuz i like their head shape and that is where my passion in reptiles is in. so maybe that is why i dont really like all of the morphs but i do like the morphs in boas. so i guess im being a little hypocritical but oh well.

Lol. Typical male- doesn't want to work, wants instant gratification...tsk, tsk, tsk.

I like boas, but for the most part, I prefer python head shapes- I like the vents. That being said, I think my ETB has one of the coolest faces I've ever seen. It's incredible, and fierce-looking, like a Chinese dragon, but she's such a sweetheart.

Kyle, I love my animals. I think my pinstripe is absolutely awesome looking! She's got the same colours as a normal but just a really reduced pattern. Quite cool in my books. But to each their own.

Jonny, it's funny you mention you like what nature gives us. You do realize most morphs all were first plucked out of nature right?
