Re: Hi everyone
I love all my babies though and hope to get some clutches from the carpets, bloods, and white-lippeds next year.

Re: Hi everyone
I also hope to do some breeding next year. I'm going to try my Western Diamondbacks and I plan on picking up some Copperheads and another Ball Python. I also have Tarantulas. I have a King Baboon and a OBT. Throw in my Desert Hairy Scorpion and my colonies of mice, rats, and roaches and I think we are in the same boat. I love carpets and that was my next snake to try and breed.

Re: Hi everyone
Carpets are wonderful! My big boy of unkown origins was my first carpet, and he is like a big lumbering scaly dog. He is super friendly, and get so excited to come out of his cage that he huffs. I thought he was wheezing at first, or hissing, but it's a carpet thing. I highly recommend them- you won't be disappointed. They are so pretty and curious and docile. Just be careful- baby coastals can be very nippy!!

Re: Hi everyone
Not sure what kind of Carpet I want. Thanks for the info. Don't mind a little nippiness lets me know that they are alive and well. Just don't want it as they get older.

Re: Hi everyone
Hey, Jonny, welcome! Sounds like you have quite a menagerie! Two of my sons & I used to have Western Diamondbacks, Timber Rattlers, Copperheads, and Pygmy Rattlers. None of them bred except the Copperheads--7 babies. It was really cool to see the babies all intertwined with the mama & the papa when they were born! Copperheads are one of my favorites--I love their coloring & patterns.
However, now all I have is a ball python! I'm feeling really deprived nowadays, but two herp shows are coming up in my state in June . . .

Re: Hi everyone
thanx for the luv. I want a Timber Rattler or Canebrake so badly but apparently my state has banned me from getting one because the timber is protected in PA. It amazes me that if you get a permit you can take a Timber from the wild but I can't buy one from a dealer. I wonder if it was purchased from out of state and I kept receipt if I could have one. I want to get a few coppers next I also have two shows within the next month to purchase a few.
