OK--here are the photos I said I'd post. Let me explain them.

The joke is on me because I set the ceramic heat lamp on top of the _plastic_ bracket crossing the top of the aquarium I use for the BP's vivarium. I assumed it was metal . . . It melted into a very interesting loop. The BP saw it. He stretched up and looped himself across it a couple of times. He really likes it--it's apparently a great place to hang out over the water bowl watching for something juicy to come along!
