Snake Guru - over 50 snakes....wow! Another question, Sid is a childrens python & i only feed him rat pups (frozen then defrosted - i heat the rat pups slightly over a lamp for a few seconds before i feed Sid) i tried once with baby mice but Sid did'nt eat them (they had fur on).
Ya know I have run into this myself, my female Hognose will eat fuzzies till the sun goes down, but if you give her a hopper or anything with a lot of fur she turns it down everytime! So I just give her several of the fuzzies and let her be. Though I see you are trying to go from Rats to mice....that just may not work, LOL there are snakes that prefere the smell of certain prey....personally if he's on Rat pups and eats well on them, I would just leave him on them.
