Red face Need to fumigate house-help please

Howdy all; my first post and somewhat urgent. I just recently aquired my first pet snake (we have copperheads, corals, rattlesnake, and various nonvenomous snakes outside), a beautiful Cal. King, about 1 yr old, very active, eating well, extremely gentle and calm and curious. I live in deep woods, surrounded by State Park, with lake, City's nature preserve, and Audobon owned land. Although I grow many kinds of plants and flowers, mostly tropical, I rarely use anything more "toxic" than Neem for those plants and in greenhouses. In flowerbeds and yard no insecticides of any kind and only organic fertilizers and no herbicides other than 20% vinegar.

I have to fumigate the house!! We have Brown Recluse, Scorpions, and Black Widows appearing all over inside the house this time of year. (Actually the Brown Recluse appear year round.) Several years ago I was bitten by a Black Widow and it was not a fun experience but Brown Recluse can be much more serious with long term problems even with immediate medical attention. We have several large and Giant housedogs but no flea problem. In the past we've used Pyrethrum based "bomb" products with pretty good success; at least to reduce their numbers. ......... What do I do now? Any products that are reasonably safe for use around reptiles?

It is EXTREMELY dusty here, especially with big dogs bringging it in from outside and lots of dander "dust" so there will be a problem of residual chemicals in the air when dust is stirred up.

Help!!!! Need suggestions especially from those who share similar environment.

Thanks, geekgranny

find a place for all your animals. .thats my best suggestion.. move them out and use the "real" stuff to get rid of your bugs.

Yah with that kind of problem i think your best bet would be too find somewhere for the animals and bomb that mother****a. But cant exterminators come and do it without having to remove anything from the house ?
