Beginner Snakes

Hi i was wonderin if a brazilian rainbow boa is a good second snake? my first snake is a rosy boa.......... what would be a good second snake.......

well in my opinion you should get a ball python then if you want to get into more expensive snakes i would say a common boa

Rainbow Boas are larger and can cause slightly more damage if it bites you......A Ball Python or a Cornsnake or Kingsnake would probably be a better choice. IMO

Personally, I think that a BRB is a perfectly reasonable second snake, provided that you do your reading and are prepared to provide the proper husbandry for a snake that whose needs are more demanding, in particular, high humidity. As for the biting, like many snakes, regular handling will calm it down. In my experience, the are pretty docile except as babies.
