new rizzack

just finished building this new adult rack. i hate melamine and would rather not use it but ive been busy as hell lately and really did not feel like painting anything.

the tubs are rubbermaid #2119 40.1L containers and the structure is built from 5/8" melamine. as of now there are only 4 tubs in this mofo, 2 of which currently have snakes in them but it will hold 6. for belly heat i am using exo terra heat pads controlled by an esu proportional thermostat and monitored by digital thermometers. i need to get a couple helixes ASAP though...

im horrible at building things and this was a rush job but its my first rack and im pleased with it. its not quite finished yet. i still need to get the edging stuff for the melamine and drill holes in the back for wires and all that so i dont have all those haggard wires running out the sides...

Whatsup Munchy!?! Long time no speak! The rizzak is off the heezie fo sheezie! I'm building one as we speak for my balls! LOL! I'm glad all the cutting and that damn trim shiznit's over with. Took forever. I'm just screwing it all together, which is fairly time consuming as well. It's 7' High x 3' Wide x 2' Deep. Holds 24 Bins. I'll post a pic of the biznatch when it's done! LOL
Hump.
PS. It's been 8 weeks now, take a big hit and hold it in for me! LOL!

hahaaa humphrizzle what it is my nizzle!!?!

yeah this is the first rack system ive ever used. ive been wanting to build one for quite some time now but ive been hella busy. i gotta say though, for BPs i already think racks are the only way to go. next i gotta build a juvenile/subadult rack and maybe one for little guys. got too many various single rubbermaid setups scattered all over the damn place (well only a couple but in a small room.)

are you using melamine or plywood for yours? i would have liked to use plywood for mine but i was in a hurry to get it done and didnt want to paint anything so i chose the melamine.

P.S ohhhhhhh no

will do homie

edit: btw this enclosure forum is great. (as well as all the others of course ) ive been reading posts in here ever since i came to the site and have since gained much knowledge from it. some of you people have great designs and build outstanding enclosures. ive got many ideas and without the info i got from people posting in here im sure i would have had a much harder time building the enclosures ive built. everybody is very helpful and i just wanna say thanx to everyone and keep on posting!

Nice Rack dude!, im thinking about building one to.

I may build one of these very soon,... plan to buy a couple females soon and will need to store them, what better way then some easy and small rubbermaid enclosures.

What do you suggest for a Thermostat... I hear ESU is terrible and fails alot, and causes alot of deaths to many snakes.. i will probably use a Helix.
