might as well get a chameloen while your at it.....

So we got a chameleon today...

Very cool....

Just a veiled - but saying 'just' isn`t just ......

Here are a couple of quick pictures I snapped after I got him in his cage

Long storey short - he was some kids, but the kid didn`t like him anymore because he wasn`t cute like he was when he was a hatchling and the mom didn`t want to look after it anymore - Your loss - My gain!

Thanx for looking!

He looks a bit stressed in the pic so you can tell that he sucked in his body so he looks how he is I imagine.

Looks good though.

Oh yeah he was super stressed, he drove for 3 hours in an icecream pail to saskatoon, and then gets thrown in a new enclosure.

He looks a lot better today, but I will have to leave him alone for awhile before I take more pictures, but he is a nice 'happy' green now and not soo sucked in!

I never understand how someone can so easily give up a pet. mine are like my kids, i worry about them if I am away for a few hours. i would definately worry if I gave them away that they would be mistreated and neglected. but at least your guy will be in a better home now, congrats!
