I read somewhere 200mm, but I have read they can get 14", so my guess is 200mm is an avg. They like the fogger I hope LOL I only run it every few days for about 5 minutes. That way I know they are staying hydrated well and that they have moist substrate. I spray the tank down still.
I might have to get a few feeder fish for my guys see if they like em.

They get a nice size, they seem pretty cool to keep. Did you get your from a petshop or a breeder? How much does a CB one cost?
Thanks,
Davey

Cool. Mine are 11" and 9" (I think she has grown a bit since I last measured tho)
I also got weights for them now that I bought a scale today. 72 grams for Lily (9") and 82 grams for Laguna (11")
Post some pics if you guys can of your Tigers

I use TREX forrest bedding, and it is coconut fibre, but looks like dirt. Mist it everyday lightly, make sure substrate stays moist, but not wet. I hope they are not in with the lizards LOL

Mine have a little dirt on them, I just give them a shower off with a water bottle everyday or two. Their temps should be around 70°F, mine are at 73°F and 75°F or higher should be avoided.
According to this page:
http://www.axolotl.org/tiger_salamander.htm
their temps are between 60-73°F, so quite cool.
When I get my new tank, I am sourcing out a cooling unit for the tank. If you can keep them in the basement it will work well. Large water sources will help keep it a little cooler too.
