the amount of crickets depends on how many reptiles you are feeding and roughly how many crix you will feed them. i have a beardie and a crestie and i buy a 100 at a time and keep them in a large rubbermaid container with holes for ventilation. 100 crix last me about half a week. you should gutlaod your crix about 24 hours before you feed them to your herps. their are many comercial gutloads you can get but i feed mine fish food, oats, potatoe. don't bother breeding crix it takes way too long and is a pain. it would cost more to breed them then to just buy them as you need them.

good luck
