Yeah, once you've already seen it the only reason to buy it is to make your family and friends watch it...

I know a lot of people said the ending was stupid, but I thought it was perfect

Wonder if it hit the states yet, finally? I tried renting it a week ago and Blockbuster said its not in yet.

I hear though it wipes the butts off The Grudge and I also hear its better than the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre. But I'm goin' by rumors. Anyone care to clear that up?

I hated TCM, the new and old one...(they killed off Eric Balfour!!! ) Watching a guy run around and chase people with a chainsaw didn't do it for me, and hillbillies aren't that frightening...

But I loved the Grudge, both versions... it's way scary. It's completely different though, I don't know if you can really compare them. Saw has REALLY cool scary moments, stuff that I haven't seen before... it's also much more disturbing BOTH of them kept me up at night though...

Just "saw" it last night and though the acting did leave a lot to be desired (Carey Elwes) the movie itself, with it's limited budget and shooting time (just 18 days) was a wonderfully original idea and kept me glued to my seat. The ending was amazing. I'll add that after watching that crapbag of a movie "The Grudge" it remewed my faith in horrors.

What 18 Days!?! That's insane, I didn't know that. That just bumped it up a level in my books.

I don't wanna ruin it for anybody either, but in the end, he didn't over power anyone.

I went in to our local convenience store, and headed for the movie rack to see if they had it. The girl working, came up to me and asked me if I liked hore movies. I asked her to repeat herself, and again she said hore. She grabbed Saw, and then I knew she meant horror.

I'd have rented it, but thier DVD's of it were out, and I have standing late charges I would have had to pay to rent it.

I liked the new Texas Chain Saw massacre (and the old ones, all of them), and we have not seent the Grudge yet, but I really like the weird spooky movies that are a bit different. Got lots of older obscure horror stuff that is weird, Vulgar the clown, last house on the left... these 2 sound like something I might really like.

I just SAW the movie. Pretty good, but I must say the acting was a bit cheezy, just like the bag of Cheetos I was eating while I was watching it.

Craig, I didn't see you tonight. You must have known I knew Karate so you chickened out hehe...
