To sex them you need to look at the underneath side. You will see a "comb-like" appendage called a pectine. Males will have a longer pectine with more "teeth". As far as breeding, just put a pair together and they should breed.

They're not much different then Pandinus species. I've read somewhere that a "winter cooling period" may help but don't quote me on that.

keep them warm, 85-90F with 80% humidity. Always worked for me.
