What a day!!! Holy moly!
I'm still in shock from the events of today. I got an email from a guy in Cali yesterday, saying he was coming up for a movie shoot in Van, and he needed animals and help. I thought it was cool, but obviously I couldn't use my breeder animals, and the commute to Vancouver would have been impossible. So one of my friends does this for a living, so I pass the offer on to him, as he's 10000x more qualified for the position than I ever will be.
So today after work, I get a call on the phone to make sure the info got passed on and all that. You'll never guess who it was. I didn't recognize the name (stupid me), but as soon as he started talking, I KNEW who it was. It was Jules Sylvester!!! The guy is my freakin' idol! He did the show called the Big Squeeze, and Jules Most Dangerous and Wild Adventures, on Animal Planet, Discovery, and National Geographic. He's the South African version of Irwin!! He's been on Leno, Letterman, Conan, ER, X-files, CSI, Bernie Mac, etc etc. I was like, HOLY CRAP! Talked to the guy for what was like an hour! Nicest guy ever. Said he'd like to come visit and see some of the Jungle Carpets when they shoot the movie.
I'm still in awe.............. The guy was so cool. Remember the scene in Most Dangerous where he catched the Retic in Singapore behind the dumpster in the alley. And the giant African Rock he nabbed out of its hole.
Unreal day. Too cool for words.
In case the name doesn't jog your memory, the pictures will:

Haha thats so awesome. He was in the february reptiles magazine. I once saw a show when he made a life like version of himself (blowup doll or something like that) and then attached it to a remote control car. He then drove the remote control towards some hippos. Needless to say those hippos mangled his doll. lol

Come on Munchy! Jeff's an old schooler, he doesn't know what skrilla is. You gotta talk to him in his language.
Jeff: what Munchy means is "That is good. You will probably make a few dubloons as well"
Hahaha. Just clownin' with you. Oops I did it too. what I mean is "I am just joking with you!"

Thorny Devils (Moloch)
Cover is mostly reddish brown with black and white splotches.
Picked it up a week or so ago myself.
That's very cool Jeff!

Damn, I got the March issue, but the Feb one is no where to be found.......... Thanks though. I'll be able to better find it now!
He's bringing a couple hundred of his own. The scene(s) calls for 400 snakes man. Its insane. Those guys really work for their money. Its going to be a site to see. They are even building a reptile room, right on set! Maybe they can come over here and build a few 4x2x1's for me? Heh heh....

Wow! Did he say how he got your name and info?
Get a job with him if you can! I'm sure you could find people to watch your snakes as you travel the world!

You know Favelle's excited when he starts using words like, 'Catched'..

At least you get to meet him man, that's something to brag about in itself.
