lizards in space...

well i thought this was interesting so i thought id post it...

a few herp species were sent into space. beardie a few snakes geckos ect ect...

well when the snake would feel weightlessness they would spin and try to grip onto stuff with nothing to grip onto they would hook onto themselves and calm right down.. the figured this is a natural reaction when falling...

the ground dwellers would feel like they were upside down and they would also spin and thrash infront of them to search for grip..

well heres the good part.. aboreal geckos would "skydive" they would spread there arms and legs and slow there rate of fall... it looked really cool... well the funny thing was that ground dweling geckos would do the same.. they wouldnt react like like other terestial herps but more like the aboreals... they would skydive..

so just one more similarty between types of geckos...

i thought it was funny.. ill see if i can find an article or something.. i orginally saw it on daily planet..
