Question for those with an iPod
I recently won one in a contest (w00t) and I had a really simple question. If the batteries run out, do all the songs get deleted or do they remain on the hard drive?
I think they should probably remain because it is a hard drive like device inside, but any confirmation would be great.

Nope, they all stay on there even if your batteries run out...
I find batteries on my Ipod don't last long at all Maybe 5-6 hours max.

Yeah ... I figured as much (and thanks a ton Heather). I am taking it with my on my trip to Greece and Italy and I need something to do for the early morning bus rides (even bought a wattage converter to charge the batteries ).

Awesome I'm charging mine right now for when I go out later, and I doubt it'll even last the ride downtown :P

If you're traveling, swap your iPod earbuds for some generic black or gray earbuds.
It will lessen your chance of being pickpocketed or robbed. If you look like a tourist and they see the telltale white earbuds, it makes you a relatively easy mark.
Stolen iPods are practically as good as cash, and if a mugger sees the buds they know your good for at least a 300 dollar US piece of hardware.

Techincally you "should" buy what goes on it ... that was their plan anyways. As for the headphones, I hate the iPod ones anyways. I think they look kinda dumb lol.
