ok im getting a cham

i get paid on thursday, getting the cage and the set up, and waiting till i can find a nosy be, thta way i would have the cage set up and ready when i get him/her, shoudl i make one? or buy one? if make can u give me some guidelines =)

If you can find a nice cage readily made, I would buy it if your carpentry skills aren't up to par (like mine)... Although, it would be cheaper to make your own cage, probably.

If you're getting a nosy be (or a veiled), it needs to have three screen/mesh sides. Plastic mesh is best, as metal mesh will hurt their claws/nails.

My male Nosy Be cage is made of wood and mesh, and is about 6 feet tall. It has a built in UV light and a heat lamp that sits on top of a metal screen at the top...

I have a big fake tree in there, and some hanging live plants with vines...

thanks, thats a nice looking cage, i'll prolly build mine post pics, and get some tips on improving it, jsut need to locate a trustble breeder now, oh and build the cage =)

it wont be till like spring though lol, i plan to have the cage done soon though myba e aweek or 2, jsut need to find me a bredder of nosy be's after that

Benny since your in the states it should be no problem to find someone selling a few differant pardalis morph's. You might want to do a search on any upcoming reptile shows. This way you can talk to the breeder and see the animal before you buy.

I personally like Sambava's.
