My first baby
Just had to post pictures of my first hatchling. He hatched 4 days ago and is allready devouring pinheads. Sorry about the poor quality picture, these guys dont like to sit still lol.

I can't help wondering if he doesn't have black/dark brown on him or am I just not seeing it? His pattern and colour doesn't look like the normal pictus.

Right now he has no dark brown or black on him whatsoever. That picture is a pretty good representation of his colors. If he will stay that way I dont know? I would love it if he did though. His mother is banded and his father is striped, this little guy seems to show both traits.

no definetly not albino, his eyes are brown. That is a 2 litre pop bottle lid beside him for comparison.

it could be a xanthic stripe, looks to have that appearance. give it some time to develop its true color.
