max temp.?

If a malfunction occurs with your heat source; what is the max temp. a Bci could handle?

I guess around 8hrs.; the average work day. I'm thinking of hooking up a back up thermostat in case the primary one fails.

make a rheostat, I wouldn't want to venture over 100 degrees.

I think they could withstand quite extreme temps 110 to 115, I really don't know, but some of those south american countries can get pretty hot and the rocks would be hot too from baking in the sun all day.

Your hot spot should only be 1/3 of the enclosure.
