what to do with a big tank

I'm getting a 4-5 foot long about 2 foot wide and 2foot high tank. It used to be full of African cichlids and other fish but they want to give the empty tank know to me. I get for free. So I'm wondering what I should put in it. No snakes my mom has the biggest phobia.

Uromastyx would do great in a setup like that, and are load of fun, and even total non-herpers tend to find them adorable. As a bonus they are 100% herbivorous, so no bugs to deal with You could house Beardies in there as well (hehehe... not my personal favourite). Dwarf monitors would also be cool in there. Some types of skink may also do well in a setup like that.
