hi....Im not sure if this is the right place to post.........flourecent blacklites(not the cheap nite light bulbs from hagen) are also called UV lights..........what type of light are they really and if it is UVa/b why isnt it used on reptiles?
Flourescent tubes are INCORRECTLY called UV lights. Because most UV lights are available in flourescent form, all of them are assumed to be UV producing, which is not true.
