Mealworms...

I was just curious if someone could tell me about how many mealworms i need to start my own colony.Any info would be appreciated, thanks

How large of a colony do you need? I use 100 beetles for my colonies (whenever I breed them... lol... geckos are always changing their minds on what they get want to eat ) and I'm feeding 5 geckos and some rats. I also employ the rotation method, as I find I get ten times the amount of worms.

Well not too large i actually only plan on feeding 3 bearded dragons, but i just started breeding rats and i never thought about feeding them mealworms or the beetles thats a pretty good idea.So im gonna have 3 bd's and 3 large rats,how many do you think i need?Thanks
