purina puppy chow for gutloading?

last week I bought a bag of purina puppy chow. is it good to gutload the crickets? it have:
crude protein 27%
crude fat 12%
crude fiber 4%
moisture 14%
linoleic acid 1.5%
calcium 1.1%
phosphorus 0.9%
iron 200 mg
vitamin E 100 IU

in the ingredient part it say that it have vitaqmin e,a, b12 and D3
i am worried about what amount of vitamin A it have but i dont thing is much.

would it be good to give it to the crickets?

whats gut loading anyways - I just got a marbel gecko a couple weeks ago and I have to feed it crickets - I`ve stop the mill worms cause they are too sice (reminds me of maggots!)
I feed my crickets the cricket pouder and keep a couple of potatoes in there too - do geckos need the mill worms?

Puppy chow is NOT GOOD FOR ANYTHING, including dogs.

You can't just look at the protein/fat levels, you have to look at where those levels are coming from, as in, the ingredients.

Puppy chows ingredients are basically corn and gross left overs from whatever animal they have at the time (different animal in every bag).

Know the phrase "garbage in garbage out"? Well puppy chow is garbage.

If you MUST buy a dog food to feed anything, dogs, rats, etc, you have to go with something like Nutro, Nutrience (if you are in Canada) or Techi-cal (again if you are in Canada).

I'll say again, PUPPY CHOW IS SHEIT.

u mean the brand or the dog food in general?
i been told that the cat food is good too

Fromm, Wellness, Eagle Pack brands are all good, natural dog and cat foods.

wellness is not a great food for the price, if you buy wellness, you are getting ripped off. eagle pack is also a huge rip off and use 2 protien sources for no good reason.

holistic/natural foods (or as I like to call them, touchy feely hippie food for dogs and cats) is not always best for your animal, it just makes their owners feel better.
