Post Your Bloods!
Hey everyone,
Lets see pics of all the bloods on this site! These are fantastic animals, with more and more people discovering them! These snakes are gaining in popularity and more people are finally realizing the magnificance of these snakes! Most bloods have better tempers than they are rumored to have. So lets show the world(well anyone that looks at this thread) how wonderful bloods are! Post a little biography on your blood too! Cant wait to see the pics! I will repost pics of mine in the next week, as our male has finally arrived! Thanks!
C.

Not Bloods, but close enough 3-4 year old pair of Borneos.
'Tasha' is lucky she's so pretty with the attitude on her! I aquired her as a captive bred hatchling. She generally isn't handled now that she's reached this size. It's much easier for both of us to just work around eachother. She's a big girl and she sure knows how to use it. She's the kind of snake that gave these guys their reputation... you know the kind that so much as a touch can send them thrashing upside down and all around, striking in between acrobatics?

'Darky' is just your typical-looking Borneo. He's pretty good as far as temperament. The usual 'complaints' every time you are around the enclosure or handling him, and he can get a bit uneasy towards you if you put him on the ground, but other than that he's pretty easy going. Has only struck at me twice in his life (excluding if I walk past his cage when he's feeding ).

Here are our Borneos, both are very sweet and calm:
Me with Fred:
His g/f, Wilma (next year she'll be ready). She's much bigger now, taking colossal rats...I need to get updated pics of her. I love the 'dead leaf' look on her head:

Hey Linds Yes the little guy came from Henry but I don't know who bred the big girl.............but it looks like ours could be cousins or somethin with that really nice blonde colour and that attitude.

HOLY CARP KARA!!!!!!!!!! That is AMAZING! And everybody else, very nice snakes!
Kara: Do you expect to be selling any Sarawaks in the near future? I would love a pair someday. Also, you have a pair of quite patternless beigeish grey bloods. Those are awesome! Do you have a name for them? Where did you get them? I would love to have a pair of those aswell! VPI has an adult female that looks similar to those, but is darker. Im wondering if its a possibility that they are offspring from that female? Great looking snakes Kara! I got a long ways to go to catch up, but im working on it! Got 1.3 already! And planning on an Albino male and a few more males and females next year!
Thanks for sharing everyone! I will have a pics of mine in the next few days.

No Sarawaks until 2006 - I'm keeping everything I produced this year & giving my female the year off.
The patternless-ish animals are Borneos & were a Christmas prezzie from Kevin last year...they were a special import baby find.
Good luck with all your projects!
Thanks!

I love the ones with silver heads. I never liked black bloods before but the ones with the silver are the coolest snake I've ever seen. They're great! Just out of question. Are you the same Kara from NERD?
