The only one I've been to is the Cleveland Zoo.

Philadelphia Zoo: says its the oldest zoo in North America, and I believe it, looks like they haven't updated their cages since the 1800's

Clyde Peeling's Reptiland: Excellent smaller zoo with an interesting collection, gotta love their multiple species exhibits (gabby's and mamba's in the same enclosures glad I don't have to clean 'em, lol)

Toronto Zoo: nice but not a big fan of the lay out and hard to find staff to ask questions of

Boston Aquarium: phenomenal zoo

National Zoo (D.C.): absolutely spectacular displays and staff are always on hand to ask questions of, the best

probably a few more I can't think of

One thing I saw once at the Toronto Zoo was the rhino come running when he was called at feeding time. It was funny to see this huge animal running like an eager dog after the keeper called him, lol.

I forgot about Jungle Cat World (how could I??) and Indian River Reptile Zoo... woops!

Anyone know whether or not most of the exhibits are closed for the season at the Toronto zoo? I'm guessing they are but I dunno. I regret not making a trip out there earlier. Sigh.
