live feeding problem

hi i have a 14 inch corn and i feed him a live rat pinkey and my snake just looks at it but it doesnt eat it ???i there something wrong im doing??

Ugh, now you are going to start up another "feeding live food is a dumb idea" thread. This SHOULD be in the cornsnake section as well.

okay couple pieces of info needed here.....
1) how long have you had this snake?
2) has it eaten for you before?
3) are you providing proper temps for it?
4) do you handle it alot especially before trying to get it to eat.
Get the picture? anyone who would take the time to answer you needs to know details like these. Just asking what you asked in your post and not providing this kind of info is like calling a mechanic on the phone and telling him that your car won't start.....what's wrong with it? any guesses what the mechanic would say?

???ok....im just worried. and its not the same tread that is about if i should feed him live food and this one is that i am feeding live food and he wont eat it.

1.) i half a year

2.) yes he ate froven before but he didnt eat them so i switched to live.

3.) yes its 80-85

4.) no not when i trying to get it to eat but when hes done eating i wait a day or 2 and then i handel him.

okay now we are getting somewhere. How long since it last ate, if it misses a meal or two it's not the end of the world necessarily.
