Hi, I aquired a three year old sulcata and she (?) has a shell diameter of about 4.5 inches. I was wondering if this is a typical size for a sulcata at this age or if she's smaller then she should be.
thank you
Depends on how she was raised (temp and food). I have a female I purchased as a newborn in 2000 and is about 8-10 in diameter but I have saw one in Florida the same age as mine that is over 15" in diameter.
