Hello everyone. My Name is Rory and i just got my Boa Last sunday at the reptile show and sale in calgary. He was born June 3rd. Last sunday when i brought him home, i fed him 2 hoppers. They went down nicely. Tonight (Sunday), I tried to feed him again. He didn't seem to interested till i touched it to his face. Thats what i did last time and WHAM!!!! Scared the bejezus outta me. Sure packs more of a punch than a baby corn snake. LOL. But anyways, he went for it and missed but hit the mouse and the tongs right outta my hand. Now he wont eat. The tongs fell into his feeding container and i think scared him. Is he just spooked??? When should i try again? I measured him tonight and hes 26 inches. That sound about right for his age??? Thank you for your time and hope to talk to you soon.
Nice boa pic . I agree with het about what the prob might be.
. My Suri is a secretive feeder, you could dangle a rat in front of her face until it turns into a skeleton and she won't strike it but if you leave it in there she'll go right to work on it.
