Question Impaction?

How can you tell for sure if a snake is impacted?

I've had mine for just over a year now and have never had this problem...

My snake hasn't gone to the bathroom in a few weeks, which seems unusual. So I'm beginning to fear it's impacted.

I tried soaking her in warm water for about 45 minutes the other day, but still nothing.

As far as I could tell, no substrate was ingested while feeding, so I'm not sure why this is happening.

I would very much appreciate any help with this! Thanks!

Boas aren't poop machines. They take a while to digest their meals, so they only poop every few weeks, sometimes even more. Also, as they age, their metabolism slows down significantly, and they will poop even less. Nothing sounds out of the ordinary, so I would leave your boa alone to let him to his thing :toilet:
