The new kid with the new BP

Hey everyone,

I'm the new kid here, and I've just purchased my first BP. I've been around plenty of snakes in my time, but this is my first time to own one. I got her from Petco (I wanted to go through a breeder- but thats another story) and she's about 21in long. Last night, she ate her first meal- a pinkie, with NO PROBLEM.
I've got a great set up right now in reference to caging, heating, etc. But I was curious when I should get her on rat pups... any suggestions? She's pretty tiny right now...

I'd get her on rat pups right away, like the next time you feed her.

Balls can usually take adult mice as a first meal, so a rat pup should be no prob.

You think? The pet store (ugh) was still feeding them fuzzies not even a week ago. But I wanna get her on rat pups asap...

Mine is not 21" long yet and polishes off rat pups in no time at all. Make the switch as soon as possible.
